Restaurant Review – Restaurants Open on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day

With the stress of holiday get-togethers in full swing, take a break and let someone else do the cooking! Throughout the city, restaurants are opening their doors to your loved ones.

Chicago Loop: With a menu crafted by two-Michelin-star Chef Danny Grant, Maple & Ash provides an elegant, sophisticated atmosphere. Reviewers rave about the aged, bone-in ribeye, complimented with baked and loaded short rib mashed potatoes, as well as the agnolotti pasta, spinalis steak, maple glazed bacon, oysters, and potatoes au gratin. River North: Etta is serving Nonna’s Christmas Feast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 4pm-9pm. The special holiday menu features Nonna’s bottomless rigatoni ala vodka, festive cocktails such as the notorious n.o.g., or a gingerbread old fashioned tableside s’mores and plenty of surprises. Lincoln Park: This holiday season, Lettuce Entertain You’s Crab Cellar invites you to join them on Friday and Saturday evening for All-You-Can-Eat Maine Lobster and Prime Burgers feast. Country Club Cole Slaw is included with all meals, and bottomless side dishes for an additional $9.95 charge includes homestyle mac & cheese, and boardwalk fries. Their promise?  “We keep serving until you say “when!”  Prepaid reservations are available Friday & Saturday nights November 26 – December 30, starting at $95 per person plus tax (gratuity not included). Lincoln Square: For something completelydifferent, Bourbon Café serves freshly prepared Serbian specialties, including a reviewers favorite Charcuterie board, or Chevapchichi is Grilled minced beef with chopped onions and sour cream. Served with choice of: fries, or sweet potato fries. They also specialize in savory crepes, including a pepperoni not to be missed. Located at 4768 N. Bucktown / Wicker Park: Perched high above the big intersection of Damen, Milwaukee and North Avenues in an Art Deco masterpiece, Café Robey is offering a sumptuous buffet of entrees like pan-seared salmon, roasted beef strip with mushroom onion sauce, butternut squash mac and cheese and roast garlic mashed potatoes. Desserts include French silk pie cups and sn English favorite- sticky toffee pudding.  Café Robey is located at 1616 N. Milwaukee Ave. Call the restaurant for reservations and hours.
