THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO – Are You Ready for Summertime Fun?

Chicago has quite the line-up of summertime fun for this last weekend in June! Are you ready to venture out?

Proudly returning to Grant Park (337 N. Randolph St.) in The Loop this Saturday (2 p.m.-10 p.m.) and Sunday (3 p.m.-10 p.m.) is Pride in the Park Chicago.  Expanded for two days, this outdoor fest celebrates gay pride and the LGBTQ+ community with national and local music acts from EDM to hip hop/rap to 80’s hits to pop! Headliners include Chaka Khan, Tiësto, and Gryffin (DJ set) along with many others!!

Enjoy a variety of performances and fun for the entire family at the 6th annual Navy Pier Pride this Saturday (12 p.m.-11:30 p.m.) at Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Ave.) in the Streeterville neighborhood. This free event celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and support for the LGBTQIA+ community with storytelling, educational programs, live music in the Beer Garden with performances from local LGBTQIA+ artists, a special Pride-themed fireworks show, and more!  It’s an all day and night event!!

Join the Rogers Park neighborhood this Saturday and Sunday (12 p.m.-10 p.m.) at Pride North Chicago on Glenwood Avenue between Morse and Lunt Avenues. This free street festival features DJs and live entertainment across two stages and three dance floors along with drink specials, and special sponsorships! It’s Chicago’s largest northside neighborhood Pride Party!!

The Andersonville neighborhood is celebrating summer with its first-ever outdoor Andersonville Vintage Market this Sunday (10 a.m.-3 p.m.). Located at 1500 W. Catalpa Avenue between Clark Street and Ashland Avenue, this market features antiques, home décor, jewelry, clothing, and more from over a dozen local retailers, along with several food vendors. Come on out and treasure hunt for vintage finds! Pets welcome as well!!

Markets for Makers returns to Chicago this Saturday and Sunday (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) at the historic and spacious Artifact Events (4325 N. Ravenswood Ave.) in the Lakeview neighborhood.  This market features 70+ makers, DIY stations, photo walls to take photos at, and a free tote to hold all your goodies from the small businesses in attendance! Upgrade your ticket to VIP and get access all weekend at any time, an upgraded tote, and admittance to the Saturday Preview Hour (10 a.m.-11 a.m.)!!

The Naperville Woman’s Club is hosting their 61st Naperville Fine Art & Artisan Fair this Saturday and Sunday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) at the beautiful and historic Naper Settlement (523 S. Webster St.) in Naperville. This community celebration will feature wares of over 110 artists & artisans, a 12’ x 8’ community mural you can contribute to, a Petite Picasso Tent where kids are able to work on their artistic skills, a Silent Auction where you can bid on artist donated creations, and exciting food and beverage options that you can feast on all day!

The Chicago Dogs will be hosting the Kane County Cougars this Saturday (7 p.m.) at their Super Hero Theme Night, and again on Sunday (3 p.m.) at Impact Field in Rosemont!
