THIS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO – TIME TO HOP TO IT!
It’s that time of year again when Chicagoans hop to it with a variety of pre-Easter festivities!
Brooklyn Boulders Chicago (100 S. Morgan St.) in the West Loop is hosting their BKB Kids – Eggstravaganza this Saturday (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.). This event is open to kids ages 5-12 (adult supervision required) and is a vertical egg hunt. Come any time (staggered start times) during 9:00 a.m. to noon to search high, low, up, down, and around the walls throughout this 22,000 square foot facility. Expect hundreds of eggs, raffles, and prizes too! After all- it’s not your traditional egg hunt!!
Head to the South Loop as the Willow Chicago Worship Center (1347 S. State St.) hosts their Willow Chicago Easter Eggstravaganza this Saturday with a massive, free egg hunt with 5,000 eggs and two kick-off times (11:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.). Afterwards stick around for more family-friendly fun including games, face painting, inflatables, and more! Promiseland is serving up some springtime fun!!
Join Lincolnwood Town Center (3333 W. Touhy Ave.) in Lincolnwood for their classic egg hunt Hide and Peep this Saturday (1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.). Join in Easter fun that includes a hunt for treats in the food court play area, face painting, a balloon artist, a live DJ, and more! Don’t forget your Easter basket!! Who’s egg-cited?

Hop to it and join Brookfield Zoo (8400 W. 31st St.) in Brookfield for its annual Breakfast with the Bunny this Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet held in the zoo’s Discovery Center! It also features entertainment from Banjo Buddies and a special appearance from costumed characters Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, who will be available for photo opportunities!!
Parkway Bank Park (5501 Park Pl.) in Rosemont is hosting a Bunny Bar Hop – Bar Crawl this Saturday (6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.). There are six participating venues including Adobe Gilas, Bub City, Five Roses, Hofbräuhaus Chicago, Kings Bowl, and Park Tavern. By stopping in each bar and making a purchase to get your card punched, you will be entered to win a Rosemont grand prize! Your ticket includes access to the bar crawl, two complimentary ticket vouchers to Zanies Comedy Club, a Bunny Swag item, and drink specials at each location!!
