Another beautiful weekend forecast is in store for us so Chicago wants to know Are You Ready!

If so Get Set and Go start your weekend with some of the following great fests marking the end of summer —

The Bucktown Arts Festival returns for its annual festival held at Senior Citizens Memorial Park (2238 N. Oakley Avenue) in the Bucktown neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This year’s festival features about 200 amazing artists selling their work; live music from over 20 elementary age musicians of Chicago’s Jazz Links Ensemble along with some of the best old and new Chicago bands performing; 10 rare craft brews at the Beer Tent along with other classics; dance performances; a Kids Tent with make and take projects; and so much more!

The Boulevard is a classic Chicago music festival event located at 3100 W. Logan Boulevard in the Logan Square neighborhood on Saturday (12:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.) and Sunday (12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.). Not only can you catch an eclectic batch of some of Chicago’s greatest bands but local vendors will be on hand serving up about every kind of cuisine you could want along with craft beers. There’s even an Official After Party (Saturday 10:00 p.m.) at the Concord Music Hall (2047 N. Milwaukee Avenue) featuring Boom Box with The Floozies for those who can’t make it to the daytime event!

The 2nd annual Brazil Fest is also located at 3100 W. Logan Boulevard (Logan Boulevard and Milwaukee Avenue) in the Logan Square neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This fest aims to educate and entertain you by sharing Brazil’s diversity and the richness of its culture by featuring live music from local Brazilian and Brazilian-American groups who will perform a wide variety of music along with professional dance groups and drumming performances; Brazilian food vendors; Carnaval parades and kids’ activities which include costume making face painting games and more!

The 7th annual Festa Italiana celebrates Italian heritage at 1300 Taylor Street (on Taylor Street between Racine and Ashland Avenues) in the Little Italy neighborhood on Saturday (12:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.) and Sunday (2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.). Needless to say this fest features food vendors from some of the best Italian-American restaurants in Chicago such as The Rosebud Tuscany Davanti Enoteca among others as well as live musical performances on four stages by solo artists and bands such as Bobby Rydell Moreno Fruzzetti Tony Spavone Frank Lamphere among many others. Also Mark DeCarlo will be hosting Game Show Italia (Saturday 5:30 p.m.) and Comedy Cooking Challenge (Sunday 4:00 p.m.). Whether you’re Italian by blood or just by heart here’s your chance to enjoy a taste of Italy!

The 24th annual Taste of Greek Town returns to 400 S. Halsted Street at Van Buren Street in the West Loop neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This annual culinary fest celebrates Mediterranean culture with food vendors from local eateries such Athena Greek Islands Parthenon Roditys Santorini among others as well as live music by Greek bands belly dancers games for both kids and families and a NEW fest addition a fine arts area! It’s OPA time!!

The 10th annual Bash on Wabash is located at 1300 S. Wabash Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Place in the South Loop neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday (11:30 a.m.). This neighborhood fest features food beer and wine vendors food trucks live music from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. arts & crafts a bags tournament and an elaborate kids area with a bounce house a balloon artist circus lessons a drum circle face painting candle making hula hoop lessons and arts & crafts for hours of entertainment!

Finally this weekend’s 2013 Chicago Movies in the Parks series features the following movies at dusk weather permitting and free admission!

"Escape from Planet Earth" – Davis Square Park (4430 S. Marshfield Ave.) – New City (known as "Back of the Yards")
