Well spring is here. Big deal — right? I think spring forgot it’s suppose to bring mild temps with it but it sure didn’t forget to bring hunting to Chicago this weekend!

Hunting for some spring bargains can be had at this year’s Randolph Street Market Spring Fling held at Beaux Arts Plumber’s Hall (1340 W. Washington Street) in the West Loop neighborhood this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Spring Fling brings a hippity-hop glimpse of spring with fresh flowers Easter goodies demonstrations a book signing from Chef Homaro Cantu of iNG as well as vintage goods for the antique lovers a fancy food market featuring all types of chocolates cakes breads spices olive oils and more. Enjoy free admission by wearing an Easter bonnet! This truly is the "Market of Markets!!"

Calling all Easter egg hunters –

The 10^th annual Spring Egg-Stravaganza takes place at Soldier Field (1410 S. Museum Campus Drive) in the South Loop neighborhood this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Billed as the largest FREE event of its type in the city of Chicago over 4000 kids and adults are expected to participate in this year’s annual candy grab starting at 10:00 a.m. which also features balloon artists face painters fun inflatable’s for all ages and more family entertainment at this egg hunt! FYI – the first 2000 kids to participate in the candy grab will get a commemorative wooden egg designed by a local Chicago youth!

Come and Hop the Bunny Train to take in the sights of the Chicago French Market (131 N. Clinton Street) in the West Loop neighborhood this Saturday for a day of family fun. The train travels around the market from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt at 1:30 p.m. where participants will get the chance to meet a very special guest – the Easter Bunny! Plus the market will be offering market-wide tastings throughout the day!!

Sheridan Park 25^th Ward Egg Hunt (910 S. Aberdeen St.) University Village 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Egg Hunt at Holstein Park (2200 N. Oakley Ave.) Bucktown 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Amour Square Egg Hunt (3309 S. Shields Ave.) Bridgeport 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Sunday

Egg Hunt at Hamlin Park (3035 N. Hoyne Ave.) Roscoe Village 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Bosley Playground Park Egg Hunt (3044 S. Bonfield St.) Bridgeport 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Lastly there’s the K-9 Egg-stravaganza at Rex’s Place (2120 Ashland Avenue) in Evanston this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Join your family-treasured furry four-legged member as they search for their treat-filled plastic eggs at this benefit for Red Door Animal Shelter. Pictures with the Easter Bunny are available as well for an additional $5!
