A surprise to many users Google is shutting down Google Reader a mobile app news aggregator on July 1 of this year with many loyal fans left wondering how to replace the service. This has left a wide open opportunity for smaller companies to compete for the attention of the reported one million monthly users of Google Reader.

Enter Feedly a competing news aggregator which has promised to make the migration from Google seamless.
