Lincoln Park: Make your reservations now for Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba’s Paella Cooking Demo! On June 18 from 6 to 8 pm, you’ll enjoy an interactive how-to demonstration with Executive Chef Eric Jorgenson. There will also be a delicious five course dinner with pinxtos, tapas, paella, and dessert- all paired with Spanish wines. The event is $50 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included). Bucktown and Wicker Park: It’s almost time for the Wicker Park Bar Crawl! This crawl will visit 4 bars in 4 hours with over 100 people and fabulous drink specials! Meet People Chicago will have a super host to guide you through the event, connecting you with new people so that at the end of the crawl, you have new friends!  Participating bars include Flat Iron, Pint, Nick’s Beer Garden, and Tapster. Lakeview: Need a family friendly event for the summer? Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 am. Stomp & Shout in concert is a 75-minute musical adventure at the Mercury Theatre. The gang will play all of the Stomp & Shout hits and rock and roll tunes. There will be pirates. There will be monster drums. There will be dancing birds and grumpy lions. River North: Treat Dad to a special Father’s Day brunch this Sunday June 16 starting at 10 am! Bub City is hosting a BBQ brunch, complete with a DIY Bloody Mary Bar and live music. The Father’s Day Meat Platter is just for dad; where he can choose four of his favorite BBQ items, like 18-hour brisket, smoked bacon and wings, bone-in short ribs, lamb ribs and more. Logan Square: Neighbors and visitors of all ages can enjoy the 2019 Bucktown Garden Walk and Block Party! On Saturday July 13 and Sunday July 14 at 10 am, take self-guided garden tours, ride the trolley throughout the neighborhood, take your kids to the popular children’s fest, check out the petting zoo, and hang at the block party along Churchill Park with food trucks, beer and wine gardens, live music, and much more. The event is free to attend and is family friendly! The heart of the event revolves around connecting neighbors and giving nature lovers a glimpse into urban gardens and green spaces, with the community opening its doors to visitors from all over Chicago to share what makes Bucktown special. Oak Park: Get ready for the Uncork Illinois Wine Festival! This Saturday, June 15 from 1 to 9 pm, wine lovers will have the opportunity to sample over 150 wines from more than 15 local wineries. Participating wineries at this seventh annual event include August Hill Winery, Juicy Luzy Sangria, City Winery, Wild Blossom Meadery, and more. “Tasting Access” admission is $25 at entrance tents (cash only, while supplies last). “Tasting Access” includes a free souvenir glass and eight tastings tickets.
