Yoga classes in unique places like the beach, a café, or high above Chicago’s iconic landscape can refocus you and your family. Here is Dean’s Team Chicago’s short list of interesting yoga studios and classes in Chicago:
FINALE BEACH YOGA 2025: YogaSix Hyde Park @ Promontory Point, 5491 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive
This Saturday, September 20, YogaSix Hyde Park invites you to one hour of FREE Beach Yoga on the Lakefront, from 8am-10am at Promontory Point Field House, on the grass. You can immerse yourself in the beauty of Chicago’s lakefront while taking care of your body and mind. Instructor Erica guides you through a series of poses and breathing exercises designed to help you relax and rejuvenate. Free, but your space must be reserved by clicking here.
Morning Yoga at Gallagher Way 3635 N. Clark Street
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning through September 30, Gallagher Way in Wrigleyville hosts free all-level classes from 7am – 8am. Bring your own yoga mat and water, and wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Storybook Yoga at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive
Join Buddha Belly Kids Yoga at Lincoln Park’s Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for a monthly cozy storybook yoga class with your family! This imaginative class will flow through a sequence of fun and creative poses that embody the story; bringing literature to life. Designed for children ages 2-8, the class provides a medium for moving, breathing, and connecting. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by a guardian. Upcoming dates are October 19, November 9 and December 14.
Please note: Space is limited. Bring your own yoga mat. Must register online in advance; no drop-ins. Ticket includes access to all museum exhibits. Family registrations are strongly encouraged, and can be made by clicking here.

Sky-High Yoga With A View at 360 Chicago, 875 N. Michigan Avenue, 94th Floor
Every Saturday from 7:45am-8:45am, at the former John Hancock building, watch the sun rise high in the sky in a yoga studio offering breathtaking panoramic city views from 1,030 feet above Michigan Avenue. This instructor-led class is open to all ages and skill levels.
Registration includes a General Admission ticket to the observation deck, an hour-long yoga class, and your choice between a Mimosa or a Kikwetu coffee. Please bring your own mat.
