With all the confusing changes in healthcare recently more Urgent Care facilities have been opening in various neighborhoods including the new Innovative Express Care at 2400 N. Ashland Ave. to help simplify the process of obtaining assistance when you are sick or have a minor injury. These facilities are open 7 days per week with walk-in availability. They offer immediate treatment for common illnesses and injuries instead of having to wait for an appointment with your primary care physician and without the hassle and exorbitant fees of going to your local Emergency Room. They claim to accept most major medical insurance plans and out-of-pocket fees are relatively reasonable. Keep these alternative healthcare options in mind for yourself and loved ones.
