TECHNOLOGY TIPS – SAMSUNG HAS AN EXCITING NEW PHONE

I’ll admit it. I’m a Samsung S5 owner. I’ve been watching what they are doing these days with their Galaxy products and with the CES show last week there was some exciting news.

Last year Samsung announced albeit on the sly their Galaxy A7 smartphone. The phone is 5.5 inches and has an 8-core processor. It’s a slimmer phone and touts a "superior social experience." The A7 has 16GB of memory and 2GB of ram which allows it to manage media and multiple apps. It also includes an extended battery to support all its hardware.

And for those of you who enjoy taking "selfies" this is the camera for you. It has an Auto Selfie mode allowing you to use a wave of the hand or voice command to trigger the image. With strong LTE features it’s easy and quick to upload your images or videos to your favorite social media too. It also sports a 13-megapixel camera in the rear and a 5-megapixel in the front.

We don’t yet know the launch date of this version. We do know that if you choose to purchase the phone off contract it will cost approximately $420.
