TECHNOLOGY TIPS – FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE

So I’ll admit that I’m part of a football pick ’em league. For me it’s all about the fun of beating those people on the roster who I know personally. If I win anything else it’s a big high five!

If you are a little more serious about your fantasy football though there are a couple quick sites to use when putting together your team without having to find a league to join. You would play week to week with each and they both offer some really good gaming.

The first is called Skyllzone. You are playing against 9 computer teams and you draft your team each week you play. You can play the free version. Or you can also participate in the paid version for a chance to win cash. Win any Points or a Cash game (1st place) to earn an entry into the $100000 Tournament for Week 15 (Max 7 entries). One cool thing about this service is that you can download the app on your iPad or iPhone.

The second is called FanDuel. You are also playing week to week with this site. This one is a little more intense in that you’ll be competing against other users and you’ll pay to get into the league. You have a salary cap on the players you can choose and winners are paid out on the same day as the game. You can also withdraw your funds to a PayPal account. One interesting thing about this site is that football is not the only league you can join. There is also baseball basketball and hockey.
