KATHY’S HOME & GARDEN TIPS – LET’S CONTROL THE PAPER
KATHY’S HOME & GARDEN TIPS – LET’S CONTROL THE PAPER
My Mother-in-law passed away recently and we’re dealing with the mountains of paper literally boxes full. This wonderful woman saved everything. I actually found HER mother’s baptism certificate!!!
I thought this would be a good time to give suggestions as to what documents should be saved and for how long and which may go. First are you a saver of greeting cards or kids’ art? There is a great app called Keepy: The New Family Album. Here you can save all kids’ pictures and add video and comment! It really is your new family album.
These items can be digitized or their electronic versions stored

Additionally you can shred all banks statement as soon as you reconcile as well as all deposit slips and atm receipts. Almost all business you have today can be accessed online including utilities. No need to keep all that paper! I go paperless whenever I’m offered the option. Save a tree it’s the way to go!
