Now there’s a site that can help you with alerts about what’s available and more importantly what is not available. The site is called TktTxt. Some alerts that would be of value include street sweeping expiring driver’s license expiring state license plate sticker expiring city sticker Cubs night game restrictions downtown bridge crossings closures special events and emergency alerts.

The system is now only available two wards – 1st Ward and 44th Ward. You can also get Spanish language alerts.
