THS WEEKEND IN CHICAGO – ARE YOU READY FOR SOME CHICAGO LOVIN’?

It’s a great time to be in Chicago as Cupid arrives back in town with some pre-Valentine’s Day events sure to please everyone!

First and foremost topping Cupid’s list is the 2012 Chicago Auto Show which opened to the public on Friday February 10th and runs through Friday February 17th at McCormick Place (2301 S. Lake Shore Drive) on the Near South Side.

Now in its 104th year and billed as the largest auto show of its kind in North America the Chicago Auto Show features nearly 1000 vehicles that include domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks SUVs as well as experimental and concept cars. Here’s a bit of trivia – the 1st National Automobile Exhibit was held March 23-30 1901 at the Chicago Coliseum! Visit the show’s website for the entire history through 2010.

After drooling over the cars don’t forget to browse the various accessories and exhibits at the show as well. You can "Vote for Best of Show" for your chance to win an iPAD2 (North Hall next to Chevrolet); or "Enter to Win" a 2012 Toyota Camry (Toyota Display South Hall) or a 2013 Mazda CX-5 (Mazda Display South Hall); or visit the 96 Live Broadcast at the Chevrolet Family Fun Zone (South Hall) for your chance to meet the legendary great Blackhawks’ goalie Tony Esposito on Saturday from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. or Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews of the current Blackhawks team on Sunday from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. There sure is plenty of lovin’ to be found at the Chicago Auto Show!
