TECHNOLOGY TIPS – ITUNES AND FACEBOOK ANNOUNCEMENTS
There is much speculation at this point but it appears that Apple’s purchase of Lala.com last year could send iTunes to the cloud. One other speculation is that iTunes will now be offering music from The Beatles.
In addition to this news Facebook announced a new feature with messaging using @facebook.com for the extension. According to a blog post by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg "You decide how you want to talk to your friends: via SMS chat email or Messages."
Though the account is an @facebook.com account it is not email. You will not be able to have subject lines CC or BCC. There will be conversational history with all the people from your friends list not to mention control over your social inbox so you don’t get unwanted messages.
