The world of motorcycles is one that was immortalized by the movie Easy Rider. This Friday and Saturday night is a celebration of the open road for an art exhibit celebrating the vagabond life of motorcycling. The two-day event is at Johalla Projects 1561 N. Milwaukee.

LAKEVIEW

Hamilton Elementary is pleased to announce their first annual Pumpkin Patch on Saturday October 23 from 11am -2pm. This event will feature free pumpkin carving and decorating stations a bean bag competition for children and adults and Fall-themed arts and crafts projects.

WEST LOOP

Guys get a taste of the Mad Men lifestyle this Friday when you take an early afternoon for a great shave and martini at the 316 Club. Starting this Friday October 22 they’ll be serving $5 Ketel One Martinis between 3-6pm. All proceeds will go to Imerman Angels on behalf of our great friend Wally Lakomy.

LINCOLN SQUARE

This month stop by the Chopping Block for discounts on all your purchases. You can dip your hand into the bucket and whatever number you pull out is your discount. You can also go to the Merchandise Mart location where you get to spin a wheel. As their site says "Every ticket is a winner- there are only treats in our version of Trick or Treat!"

HIGHWOOD

This Saturday don’t miss the opportunity to see history in the making. The city of Highwood will be launching 32000 seaworthy pumpkin flotillas at their Pumpkin Festival. The goal is to beat the jack-o’-lanterns world record. Join together at Lake Michigan to view the event.
