During pre-Prohibition days tied houses were the original brewpubs. They were taverns that sold only the brand of beer that they were "tied" to. One of the more famous in Chicago is Schuba’s on the corner of Southport and Belmont. The City Council is slated to introduce landmark status for eight Schlitz tied houses this week.

Friday night Denim Lounge had a boy’s night out. This may or may not be a traditional boy’s night. There will be jeans for sale at 25% off. The party is being sponsored by Half Acre. And there might be some models too. Well maybe it is a boy’s night but girls don’t forget you can have fun while the cat’s away.
