TECHNOLOGY TIPS – SHARING HOLIDAY MEMORIES

Cathy Mallers PhotoAs the holidays draw closer it’s time to start thinking about how you are going to share all your memories from time spent with family and friends.

I know some of you may decide to share through social networks like Facebook and MySpace but here are a couple other locations that would be of benefit for those prolific picture-takers.

There are several different locations that I really like when thinking about sharing images without cluttering my social sites. The great thing about all these sites is that they are free to use and to sign up.

The first is Flickr. You can put up your images through their website or mobile upload. According to their website "Flickr is the WD-40 that makes it easy to get photos or video from one person to another in whatever way they want."

The next site is Snapfish. Again you can upload your images through their website. With this site you can order items like a calendars or mugs with your images on them.

Another site you can use is PhotoBucket. According to their website "Photobucket is the premier site on the Internet for uploading sharing linking and finding photos videos and graphics."

Finally the site I go to for doing editing of images is Picasa. Picasa offered by Google has expanded from a free photo editing forum to a location where you can also upload your images and share them with anyone via a link.

So take lots of pictures this holiday and be sure to share them with everyone.
