"Say hello to Suit Man!" excalims the boat tour guide to the applause and cheers of the crowd. "You’ll never see him in the same suit twice!"

Vincent Falk otherwise known as Suit Man Fashion Man for the hundreds of dazzling suits-glittery gold lime green cherry red powder pink that he dons with utter delight.

Legally blind since birth Falk works by day as a computer programmer for Cook County. But in the evenings you’ll find him on the bridges entertaining passersby. At 10:30 p.m. Falk can usually be spotted in the final scene of the WLS-Ch. 7 news broadcast as he spins in all his glory.

"My philosophy in life is to make people happy" says Falk 58. On the sidewalks of the city Falk has found his niche. "If I can get people to giggle and laugh. That makes me happy."

Born with glaucoma Falk was abandoned as an infant on the steps of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lincoln Park. As a result they called him Vincent. He went to live at St. Joseph’s Home for the Friendless an orphanage on the South Side before he was adopted at 8 years old. Mary and Clarence Falk a religious couple who couldn’t have children of their own came to visit him and took him home. The Falks provided a warm and caring family for their foster son. But the most important thing they did for him was to "love him" says Theresa Kolbeck a family friend. "That was No. 1. They loved him very much." Click here to read the entire article.
