TECHNOLOGY TIPS – THE OLYMPICS GO MOBILE

Cathy Mallers PhotoNBC announced today that you will be able to watch the Olympics within about 12 hours after an event ends.

The service is called NBC Olympics on the Go. It’s a great program. You can select the sports you’re interested in. When the latest updates are ready they will automatically download to your laptop and you can view the events without even being on-line. The service is being provided free of charge from Wavexpress.

With Beijing 12 hours ahead of EST most events will take place while Americans are sleeping. Since the service will be available within 12 hours you can set-up your laptop to download while you’re sleeping and then watch the highlights during your commute.

In order to use the service you will need to have Microsoft Windows Vista installed on your computer. It runs on the operating system’s Media Center.

GO USA!
