Non-drinkers face ordering non-alcoholic drinks when entertaining themselves around town. Many groups including your designated drivers health and calorie conscious people Alcoholics Anonymous members adults with next day early-morning obligations and responsible pregnant woman needn’t worry when their adult beverage drinking buddies suggest hitting the town for the evening due to a little help from some creative bartenders around town.
Over in Lakeview Matilda (3101 N. Sheffield Ave.; 773-883-4400) bartender Calvin Marty rose to the challenge of preparing a virginal drink by whipping up a large glass of "Crazy Juice." For just $3.00 you can get a shaken not stirred mix of orange pineapple and cranberry juice and a splash of club soda on the rocks. Marty also garnished the glass with a cherry and slices of lemon orange and lime perched on the rim. It’s a nice alternative to just another glass of diet soda.

A previous volunteer at one of the information desks at the Chicago Cultural Center in the Loop responds to "Museum broadcasts need for funds to finish building" by Tribune reporter Robert Manor and to "Finish museum" (Voice of the people May 28) by letter writer Curt Smith. The Cultural Center former worker states that throughout the year I’d get requests to visit the broadcast museum and offers an opinion that the cost of about $4 million to open the broadcast museum and make it a tourist destination would be beneficial to the city.

LINCOLN PARK
It’s is literally almost summertime. Events are kicking up everywhere around town. One such festival this weekend is in Lincoln Park and offers live music arts and crafts fine art for sale and kids’ entertainment; through Sun. Noon Sat.-Sun.; $5. WRIGLEYVILLE
Security at both ballparks will be stepped up for the City Series this weekend at Wrigley Field and next weekend at U.S. Cellular as the games seem to bring out the some foolish scenes.
White Sox official Scott Reifert said the Sox will be bringing in their own security professionals to add to the security crews at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs believe security will be fine.
"Granted it’s a Cubs-White Sox series this weekend but with a capacity crowd just about every game thus far this season our security measures have been very diligent" said Peter Chase Cubs media relations director.

EVANSTON
Why not mingle among the arts crafts and antiques which will be on display from more than 300 merchants at the 36th annual fest known as Evanston’s largest and oldest outdoor event. There will also be food vendors live music on two stages a Native American powwow and kids’ entertainment to provide fun for everyone.
