Of course you know I had to find something free. It’s been a while and I was introduced to this great site.
It’s called Lime Wire. Imagine wanting to add some music to your iPod and just not wanting to spend the money. Well with Lime Wire you can do just that.
The concept is very simple. You sign up for an account and people make their information available to you. So let’s say you just have to have a copy of Respect by Aretha Franklin. You can do a search on Lime Wire and all the available downloads will pop up. You can download directly into your system or you can just hit play to listen to some Motown.
The beauty of Lime Wire is that is does not stop at music. You can also download images videos and (get this!) software.
