Sunday brings us the Bank of America Chicago Marathon from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries who set out to accomplish a personal dream by reaching the finish line in Grant Park.  The 27th Mile Post-Race Party will open to spectators at 9:30 a.m. where they can reunite and celebrate with the runners.  Additionally, there’s the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo featuring over 180 exhibitors at Chicago’s McCormick Place (2301 S. Prairie Ave.) this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. which is free and open to the public!

Also, whether you’re running in the marathon or cheering on friends, you can still be part of the excitement of race weekend by partaking in the Advocate Health Care International Chicago 5K  on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. beginning at Federal Plaza (230 S. Dearborn St.) and finishing at Arvey Field in Grant Park.  Don’t miss your opportunity to experience this world class city!
