As usual, Chicago has many events to offer as we celebrate Easter this weekend.  Enjoy one of the many family-friendly events such as egg hunts on Saturday and/or an Easter Sunday brunch or dinner at one of Chicago’s finest restaurants.  Shall we “hop to it!”

Lincoln Park Zoo’s Spring Egg-Stravaganza Presented by Kinder Joy® will have families hopping this Saturday (8 a.m.-12 p.m.) with plenty to do at its annual Easter celebration.  Highlights include a series of egg hunts for every age group, a Zoo-wide scavenger hunt, musical fun with Mary Macaroni and the Impastas, free carousel and train rides, outdoor activities and games, and more.  Plus, the day will conclude with an Easter Bunny farewell parade!  So, grab your baskets and get “egg”-cited for a day at the Zoo!!

It’s time again for the Bunny Rock 10K, 5K, and Kids Egg Dash this Saturday (9 a.m.-11 a.m.) at Grant Park’s Arvey Field.  All 10K and 5K participants will receive bunny ears, a dri-fit unisex long sleeve ¼ zip or a unisex short sleeve shirt (your choice), a race bib, and a finisher’s medal.  All Kids Dash participants will receive bunny ears, neon sunglasses, a basket, a race bib, and lots of eggs.  After the race, kids ages 2-10 can take part in an egg hunt or line-up to have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny!  This festive event also brings lots of excitement and entertainment with 80’s rock music at the start and finish line along with amazing amenities!!

Bring your little ones for a fun day in the Prairie District for the annual South Loop Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday (12 pm.-2 p.m.) at the Chicago Women’s Park & Gardens (1801 S. Indiana Ave.).  Festivities include hunting for over 15,000 eggs (small prize or candy inside), face painting, fun sports games, amazing prizes to be won (including 100’s of White Sox tickets), and more.  Plus, the Chicago White Sox mascot Southpaw as well as the Easter Bunny will be in attendance!  Don’t miss Chicago’s biggest Easter egg hunt!!

Families can join the Easter Bunny to hunt for colorful eggs at the annual Eugene Field Park Egg Hunt this Saturday (10 a.m.-11 a.m.) in the Albany Park neighborhood.  Make sure to bring your own basket for this fun family holiday event!

Calling all adults!  It’s your turn to get to play like a kid and drink like an adult at the Adult Easter Egg Hunt Bar Hop in Wrigleyville this Saturday (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) at Wrigleyville’s best bars.  A ticket gets you admission to all participating bars, a breakfast buffet, bunny ears, gift cards to use on the crawl, and most of all, an Easter Egg Hunt for adults!  Scoot over kids, it’s time for the adults to hop from bar to bar for their one-of-a-kind party!!

The Easter Bunny, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Alice in Wonderland will be on hand to entertain the family at Sunday’s (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) Easter Jazz Brunch at the Time Out Market in the West Loop.  Face painters and balloon twisters will also be on hand along with the John Fournier Trio playing a lively jazz set starting at 1 p.m.  Plus, you can order specialty cocktails and mimosa pitchers all day long!
