Restaurant Review: Lure Fishbar

Lure Fishbar has found its way to Chicago to bring upscale seafood and sushi to residents in River North. Founded by John McDonald, Lure Fishbar has two other locations in New York and South Beach, Miami. They focuses on having fresh seafood from around the world and even offers a rotating oyster selection.

The menu is expansive, offering oysters, sushi rolls, crab, lobster, sashimi, caviar, and so much more. If you’re a seafood lover, Lure Fishbar is your paradise! All ingredients are fresh and expertly prepared to provide decadent seafood entrees.

With sushi being a large part of the menu, they offer your traditional rolls as well as some more unique and adventurous ones. From the King Crab California Roll to a Lobster Tempura Roll, those who like to stick to the classics will find everything they love here. For the more exploratory eater, they offer rolls such as the Dynamite Roll which features a spicy scallop topped with spicy tuna, yellowtail, and tobiko.

You can’t go wrong with ordering any of the oysters. They are all fresh and rotated to make sure that every bite is as flavorful as the last. All these meals can be perfectly paired with any of the sides that are offered. From Lobster Mac N’ Cheese to Roasted Cauliflower and Chili Salsa Verde, the flavor and decadence continues for every aspect of your meal.

For those who aren’t too keen on seafood, Lure Fishbar also offers a variety of steak and chicken entrees. You can have the Cooks Chicken which is made with a Panzanella salad and porcini jus to give it a rich and savory flavor. Of course, you can never go wrong with the Prime New York Strip or the Prime Filet Mignon. They even have a burger and pork chops for those who are craving the classics!

With an upscale, nautical ambiance, Lure Fishbar is the place you need to go for your next celebration or date night. With its lavish menu and luxurious atmosphere, you’ll have the night out that you deserve!

Located at 616 N Rush Street, Lure Fishbar is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
