Bucktown and Wicker Park: Get ready for Ra Ra Ra at the Hideout Theatre! Ra Ra Ra is a podcast for everyone who is ready for a divine awakening, anyone that has felt disconnected from a sense of purpose, a sense of connection to life, anyone ready to bask in laughter, to allow themselves to feel rage. Each show is a live podcast recording featuring comedians, musicians, and performers of all kind from around the country. The show is on Tuesday June 18. Doors open at 6 and the show is at 6:30 pm. Lakeview: In celebration of Pride Month, Tied House is hosting a fabulous Pride Drag Brunch! On Saturday June 15 at 11 am, join your favorite drag queens for a delicious brunch. Lincoln Park: Geja’s Cafe is kicking off summer with two fantastic wine events! On Sunday June 9 from 1-3 pm, they’ll be featuring 11 wines from the Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery- including 2 house wines specially created for Geja’s. You’ll also eat cheese and chocolate fondue, as well as gourmet meats and cheeses. Tickets are $40 per person. Then, get excited for the Winemakers Dinner on Tuesday June 11 with a reception at 6:30 pm and dinner at 7 pm. This special 4 course dinner will be paired with wines from San Antonio Winery as well. Chicago Loop: The Chicago Bar Association’s Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are concluding their season with a spectacular concert at Chicago’s Orchestra Hall featuring more than 300 lawyer musicians and friends. The concert is on Saturday June 22 at 8 pm at the Symphony Center (220 S Michigan Ave). CBA musicians will be joined by the Niles Metropolitan Chorus and the DePaul Community Chorus for a classical mashup! Tickets start at just $21 and can be purchased here.

Edgewater: Do you love live music? This is the event for you! On July 26 from 7-9 pm, kick off EdgeFest with Bands on Broadway! Broadway will be bumping, from Devon all the way down to Balmoral. The streets will be buzzing with live music in front of Edgewater’s participating restaurants! Ten different bands will be playing on outdoor seated patios while you wine and dine. In the spirit of Year of Chicago Theatre and Edgewater’s YOCT Pledge, Bands on Broadway is working with participating restaurants on theatre-themed menu drinks and platters to keep spirits high. Evanston: It’s not too early to mark your calendars for the Evanston Art & Big Fork Festival! It’s a weekend long celebration from August 16-18 of local art and flavorful food. The festival features original, high-end work from more than 150 juried artists, available for purchase. Traditional mediums such as painting, sculpture, and photography are showcased alongside unique, usable art, including handmade jewelry, one-of-a-kind furniture, and home accessories. Every day will feature live music, tasty local food, beer, and wine. The festival is Friday from 4 to 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
