Lincoln Park: It’s that time of year again! Clark Street’s annual restaurant crawl is back, with both sweet and savory bites! Cravings on Clark is on Wednesday, June 13 from 6 to 9 pm. Enjoy one of Chicago’s favorite food events as you dine, crawl, and shop along Clark Street and Diversey in Lincoln Park. Diners will experience tasty bites from over a dozen Lincoln Park restaurants, eateries, and pubs; while also enjoying deals at shops and businesses in the area. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit Lincoln Park Community  Services. There will also be free pedicab rides along the route to help you get to each restaurant! Lakeview: It’s not too early to mark your calendars for Northalsted Market Days! This annual shindig is the largest street festival in the Midwest! It runs from August 11-12 and features an all day lineup of live music on 4 stages, over 200 unique vendors, arts, crafts, food, drink, DJs, dancing, sponsor booths, and much more. Admission is a suggested $10 donation. The festival is in Boystown, between Belmont and Addison on Halsted St. Hours are 11 am to 10 pm both days. Find more information about this great fest here!

Bucktown and Wicker Park: You can always find a festival during the summer in Chicago! Do Division Street Fest 2018 takes place the first weekend of June. Hours are Friday, June 1 from 5 to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3 from 12 to 10 pm. The fest is on Division Street, between Damen and Leavitt. The fest features two live music stages, a wide variety of local vendors and food, beer, wine, spirits, and a dedicated Family Fun Fest area with family activities and a stage (exclusively benefitting local elementary schools). Plus, Do Fashion- with local designer runway shows and DJs! There is a suggested $10 donation for admission. Proceeds from Do Division Street Fest benefit local non-profits and schools. Edgewater: Each month, the Community Cooking School at Peterson Garden Project hosts an intergenerational cooking class. One Sunday afternoon (this month, it’s Sunday, May 20 from 1-3 pm), they cover a new food topic, cook as a group, and sit down at the end of class to enjoy the meal. May’s topic? It’s a Picnic! This class will help you prepare for picnic season with simple and delicious make-ahead fare. Tickets are $20 each. The school is located at 5917 N Broadway on the second floor. Logan Square: It’s time for Bucktown Garden Walk 2018! Garden walkers are invited to view urban gardens as Bucktown residents open their personal gardens to the public. The event is Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15, from 10 am to 6 pm. It takes place at the Headquarters at Churchill Park and will feature live music, a beer garden, food trucks, a petting zoo, children’s activities, and of course, Bucktown’s Greatest Gardens! Oak Park: Uncork Illinois is back! On Saturday, June 16 from 1 to 9 pm, wine aficionados will have the chance to sample over 150 wines from more than 15 local wineries at the seventh annual event. “Tasting Access” admission is $25, cash only at the entrance tents (while supplies last). You can also purchased $20 tickets online, in advance. “Tasting Access” tickets include a free souvenir glass and eight tasting tickets.
