Kel Mitchell (yes, that Kel Mitchell!) of Nickelodeon shows such as “All That” and “Kenan and Kel” will host a 90s-themed bar crawl this Saturday in Wicker Park. Wear your best 90s outfit or dress as your favorite 90s character! The crawl is scheduled from 2 to 9 pm and will stop at 11 bars. Any participant who makes it to all 11 bars will receive a Totally 90s t-shirt as a prize! Tickets can be purchased in advance starting at $29.99 and are $40 for day-of purchase. Buy your tickets and find more information here!

Lincoln Park: The Lincoln Central Association will hold its third annual Summer Sipper Sunday at Fire Station Park and Gardens this weekend. This free reception takes place in the garden behind the Chicago Fire Department station at Armitage and Larabee from 5-7 pm this Sunday. Geja’s Café (340 W. Armitage) will be featuring a sangria bar. J9 Wine Bar (1961 N. Halsted St.) and David’s Tea (924 W. Armitage) will also be present. Gemini (2075 N. Lincoln Ave.) and Tobacco Road Tap Room (2249 N. Lakeview: Are you a theatre fan or a movie buff? Well, with this show, you don’t have to choose! Under the Gun Theatre presents: Save Ferris: The Unofficial Sequel to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. “It’s been three decades since Ferris Bueller’s legendary day off, and the years have not been kind to him.”, says a short synopsis of the show. The show centers around Ferris’s desperate attempt to reconnect with his daughter Reagan on a journey through Chicago, trying to recreate his magical day. With the exception of tomorrow, June 23, the show runs every Friday night until July 7 at 9 pm. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance online.

Lincoln Square: The Ravenswood On Tap Festival is back for its second year this weekend! The festival experienced overwhelming success last year, so much so they had trouble servicing all the patrons. This year, the event will feature a longer run time, more food, more beer, and more room. Held at the corner of Ravenswood and Berteau, breweries and distilleries along Malt Row will set up taps on both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be live music, food from local restaurants, and food trucks! Hours are 1 pm to 9 pm Saturday and 1 pm to 6 pm Sunday. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. Beer is sold via ticket ($6 per ticket) and is cash only. Find more information here!

South Loop: You may have heard that Portillo’s has brought back their famous lemon cake! Well, it’s now even more famous, as the cake was the opener for Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night. The show’s opening was filmed at Portillo’s (520 W. Taylor St.), with an employee pitching the return of the cake after a 10-year absence. Watch the cake’s starring role on Jimmy Kimmel here. The cake is only back until July 31, so get yourself to Portillo’s soon, or you might miss out!

Oak Park: Outdoor concerts abound in Chicago during the summer and Oak Park is no exception! Every Sunday night, you can catch free concerts in Scoville Park. Concerts begin at 5:30 pm and are totally family friendly. Bring blankets and chairs, a picnic, and get ready to dance and listen to music with family and friends. This Sunday, Chaquis Maliq is performing. It’s a one-woman show with R&B, soul, and blues influences. Check out the full summer line-up here!
